According to the information received, the Hajra family lives in Ambona village of Bonpas Panchayat under Bhatar police station area of ​​East Burdwan. The youngest son of the house, Ayan Hazra, went downstairs to lock the main door of the house at 10.30 pm on Saturday night. Then he saw that a white envelope was lying there. He was shocked with the envelope in his hand. The whole family is in panic due to the incident. The police has started an investigation into this matter, but after this incident, the whole area has been stirred up.

The letter reads, "Jai Bajrang Boli, we are Maoists. The elders of your house have left 40-50 lakh rupees. You will have to give us Rs 5 lakh from that money, otherwise the youngest son of the house will be in trouble and this money will be taken from the bell floor of Ambona village."

The family is in panic over the letter of Maoists

Ayon Hazra, a member of the family, said, "Such letters have been given to their families in the past as well. About three-four years ago, such threatening letters used to come to my brother-in-law's house. Last night I saw a paper lying near the door. They demanded money from us." After receiving the letter, the youngest son of the Hazra family lodged a complaint with the Bhatar police station. On Saturday night, the police of Bhatar police station went to Hajra's house in Ambona village. The police has assured the Hazra family about the matter. The housewife said, 'I am very scared. I am worried since last night. I informed the police. Police say that there is nothing to worry. They are looking into the matter."

Journalist died in blast in Odisha

Incidentally, the news of Maoist attack came yesterday also. A young journalist was killed in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. An IED bomb blast was reported on Saturday afternoon. Police said Maoist posters calling for boycott of upcoming elections were put up in Mohangiri gram panchayat in Odisha's Madanpur-Rampur block. While taking the news, the journalist went in front of the poster and it exploded. Police sources said that the name of the journalist is Rohit Biswal. He used to work in that newspaper in Kalahandi district.
