Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council voting: On January 28, the Election Commission had announced that the biennial elections to the Legislative Council would be held in two phases on March 3 and 7. Counting of votes will take place on March 12.

Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council Voting: Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council (Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council) Biennial elections for 35 seats will now be held on April 9. Earlier, elections for these seats were scheduled on two different dates. Technically, the elections will still be held in two phases as announced. But now the voting will be on the same day. Election commission (Election Commission of India) Said in a statement that the change has been made in the election program of the Legislative Council after the demand of political parties. Elections to the 403-member Uttar Pradesh Assembly will be held in seven phases from February 10 to March 7 and counting of votes will be held on March 10. On January 28, the Election Commission announced that the biennial elections to the Legislative Council would be held in two phases on March 3 and 7. Counting of votes will take place on March 12. The term of 35 members of the Legislative Council ends on March 7.

There are two seats in the Mathura-Eta-Mainpuri local government constituencies, for which separate elections will be held. Polling will be held in 29 constituencies in the first phase and in six constituencies in the second phase. With the release of the election notification, the election process for the first phase had started, but the Election Commission has decided to put a stop to it. Now this process will start on March 15. The process will start on the same day with the issuance of notification for the second phase as well. Now voting for both the phases will be held on April 9 and the counting of votes will take place on April 12.

Voting will be held in seven phases in UP

Voting will be held in seven phases in Uttar Pradesh. Polling will be held in the initial phase in West Uttar Pradesh and it will move towards East Uttar Pradesh. On February 10, the first phase of polling will be held in 58 seats. The second phase of polling will be held on February 14 in 55 seats. The third phase of polling will be held on February 20 for 59 seats, the fourth phase on February 23 for 60 seats, the fifth phase on February 27 for 60 seats, the sixth phase on 57 seats on March 3 and the seventh phase on 54 seats. But it will be on 7th March.
