One of Bollywood's most admired couples is Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh. The couple recently appeared on Kapil Sharma's comedy show, where Riteish recounted an amazing tale.
The actor opened up about being referred to as "Genelia's spouse." He claimed they were at a cricket tournament in Bengaluru, where a South team was competing. Two players on the squad were saying to each other, "Genelia's spouse."
He went on to say that his ego had been bruised, so he informed them, "I'm Genelia's husband there, and she is Riteish's wife in Maharashtra." They then informed him that Riteish's wife resided in one state whereas Genelia's husband resided in Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
Riteish and Genelia have two children and have been married for eight years. With the film Tujhe Meri Kasam, they made their Bollywood debut in 2003. While Riteish continues to appear in Bollywood films, Genelia relocated to the south and appeared in a number of Telugu and Tamil films. She returned to Bollywood a few years later, appearing in the film Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na in 2008. After his marriage, the actor has barely appeared on the screen.
In the meantime, he was most recently seen in Ahmed Khan's 'Baaghi 3' alongside Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor. In March of 2020, the film was released. Genelia is slated to make a comeback in the official remake of the Malayalam film 'Lucifer.'
They were observed spending great family time during the lockdown. The couple frequently posted photos of their youngsters on social media.
COVID-19 had been detected in Genelia. She healed and wrote a social media post about her ordeal. Despite being asymptomatic, the actress was isolated for over 21 days.
