DJ Goddess is a Canadian DJ, Producer, Choreographer, and Model. She is an international EDM Bollywood and House DJ. She has been labeled as the No. 1 DJ in the 2013 Canada Top New list. DJ Goddess has wrapped over 10 international tours over her career. She has worked with famous Punjabi artists and also released her singles – Who Cares Reply (2019) and Queen (2020).
Personal Life
DJ Goddess was born and raised in Prince Rupert and moved to Vancouver, where she went to high school and later attended the University of British Columbia.
She majored in Biology with a minor in Business Management.
When she first started at University, her dream was to attend medical school and become a physician, which was the field of many people, including herself.
Career
In the second year of university, she went on acting & dance class and later decided to pursue acting.
She worked as an intern for Hollywood Special Effects Studio called Kerner Studios in San Francisco.
After a couple of years, she became a production associate and later a management consultant for Hollywood artists.
During the weekends, she spends time with her Dj friend and decides to learn her craft.
After a few months, Jessica came back to her hometown Vancouver and started learning from another female DJ named Lisa Deluxe and fell in love with it ever since.
She has recently dabbled in music production only a couple of years ago and already has multiple remixes out including several official remixes to her name.
She was the first female Bollywood DJ to hit charts across the world, being labeled as the No. 3 New DJ in the World, and No. 1 New DJ in Canada by Industry Experts
Her most viewed unofficial remix "Mann Bharrya | Qismat | Ammy Virk | B Praak" has crossed over 15 million views.
She has wrapped over 10 international tours over the last few years, ranging from New York, London, Vancouver, San Fran, Africa, Qatar, Dubai, Australia, Mumbai, Delhi, and Chandigarh.
She has also featured in Punjabi music videos like Guerrilla War, Purje, Doabey Wala, and Tera Rang.
DJ Goddess has also dropped singles – Who Cares Reply (2019) and Queen (2020).
She founded the "Crown That Goddess" movement, which focuses on creating a network of support for women pursuing their entrepreneurial and creative dreams.
Sales from the Goddess bracelet will be going to set up a Women Entrepreneurial Fund to aid in financial assistance to set up their own business.
