NETFLIX signs Hugh Grant to play “Zeus” in new Greek mythology seriesCalled “Kaos”, a “darkly comic, contemporary take on Greek mythology” where “Zeus” becomes convinced of his impending downfall as he begins to see signs of it manifesting all around 😲. Which as you see are all… October onward, thus backing up the sentiment from COMCAST’s Q1 earnings call that they’re really not expecting major PEACOCK growth until Q4 / the end of the year. Which likely means no big PEACOCK subscriber growth news to tout until the Q4 2022 call, which won’t be until Feb 2023. ALTHOUGH Q3 - Gonna have some big movies from the Summer (“Minions”, “Jurassic”, “Black Phone”) as well as the return of PREMIERE LEAGUE in August, and the return of the NFL and NBC series in Sept. /Deadline AMAZON adds Micaela Coel, Paul Dano and John Turturro to “Mr & Mrs. Smith” seriesNo word on the roles, but they join Donald Glover & Maya Erskine of the “Mr & Mrs” in the title. /Variety ALSO IN TV
